Mobile Livestreaming | Mevo Camera and App
Here’s a quick how-to overview of the Mevo camera and livestreaming session we ran couple months back for Harvard, MIT, and Microsoft. The Mevo camera and app provide a pretty slick interface for getting live video out to the platforms of your choice.
The first part of the video covers fixed, hardwired camera set-ups, which are more secure because you’re not dependent on possibly dodgy wifi networks (a typical issue at conferences). The second part shows how we mounted the Mevo on a Ronin gimbal and went mobile over a 4G network.
All content is archived, in this case to the MIT IDSS facebook page. We achieved about 1,000 views day of the event, counts are now up to 3,400. Not bad for a tech conference!
